Prayer and helping Pastors and Spiritual leaders and churches to gather strength and hope following these couple of months of challenging effect of this covid-19 Pandemic. Pastors and councils are tired. Congregation members are worn out from the extra workload. Some contracted the covid-19 virus out of their dedication and sacrifices. The desire of keeping the church to go on. As we all aware of temporary prohibition of public gatherings, schools, restaurant private and public and different establishments that really affects our source of income. The closure of usual church face to face worship that also leads discouragement to some Pastors. As we all knew this full time Pastors are performing our God’s calling without salaries. Some choose to give-up their jobs for them to perform their full time ministries. Some churches are totally closed as some are having monthly rentals, and naturally can’t sustain their finances. Some bible studies and discipleship are also discontinued. Some are really depressed causing the decrease of their immune system, thus sickness occurs, affected by covid and non-covid related diseases. Sadly many Pastors didn’t make it and went ahead of us. God promoted them in many ways in their appointed time. Although Some Pastors chooses to continue spreading the word of God through social media, like live preaching and video recorded preaching in different media platform. I salute my fellow Pastors for their noble choices, never giving up despite of this challenges that hinders our ways, but God continue to strengthen and sustain our needs. Although there’s no such and better way of physical worship where we can personally pray, hugged, shake hands and pat ones shoulders, as well as listening to their testimonies It’s indeed an encouragement to us all.
Let’s continue to pray for this pandemic to end leading the return of our normal living, physical church services and our government economy to be restored. Remember prayer with faith coupled with action as human responsibility is the main ingredients of prayer. Let’s not tired of praying, encouraging and supporting each other especially in this difficult times. Although this pandemic somehow teaches us a great lessons but in reality we need a normal life to enjoy with our family friends and countrymen as long us we live. In line with this, let’s continue to do usual contact precautions to avoid the spread of this viral infection as way of caring and loving each other. If we can let’s choose to be vaccinated to at least prevent us to contract this viral disease and of this any new variant that has been detected.
Thank you and keep glorifying the Lord by doing great things with all our heart mind and soul with good intentions.Keep spreading the word of God in season and out of season. God bless and stay safe everyone!
Best Regards,
Bishop Samuel Gonzales
